It wasn’t too long ago that I was neck deep in Lego and laundry.
Amidst the disarray of raising three boys the thought of digging out an old tote of painting supplies and doing anything with it was far, far from my mind. It had been a decade since I’d picked up a brush. I figured any creativity I’d had was expired right along with my lumpy tubes of acrylic.
But time flies and before I knew it, the kids were occupying themselves without too much refereeing and I realized I had the occasional moment of personal time. I picked up my brush, grabbed a few new supplies and fell headfirst back into the fascination of replicating the landscapes of our beautiful country.
